A SMA Altenso (Altenso), subsidiária da SMA Solar Technology AG (SMA), está impulsionando o uso flexível de energias renováveis com projetos inovadores em todo o mundo. Após a entrega bem-sucedida e instalação da tecnologia de inversores SMA para o projeto de hidrogênio da Cleanergy Solutions Namibia, a Altenso ultrapassou agora a marca de 1 gigawatt (GW) de potência total entregue para aplicações de hidrogênio. O projeto atual integra fotovoltaica, armazenamento em baterias e produção de hidrogênio, destacando o foco estratégico da Altenso como pioneira global no fornecimento sustentável de energia.

Essas habilidades são essenciais para implementar com sucesso projetos cada vez mais complexos, incluindo implementações offshore. No total, os projetos que apoiamos permitem a produção de até 130.000 toneladas de hidrogênio verde por ano, contribuindo ativamente para a descarbonização dos processos industriais."

Para o projeto atual na costa atlântica da Namíbia, a Altenso não está apenas realizando a integração do sistema de armazenamento em baterias (BESS), mas também atuando como fornecedora de soluções power-to-gas (P2G) para a produção integrada de hidrogênio. A instalação e comissionamento da fazenda fotovoltaica e da tecnologia de inversores de baterias foram concluídas com sucesso no final de 2024. Espera-se que a produção de hidrogênio comece em meados de 2025. A solução retificadora, especialmente desenvolvida pela SMA para aplicações de hidrogênio, é baseada em tecnologia IGBT eficiente e amigável com a rede. Esta solução é altamente flexível e compatível com vários tipos de eletrólitos, como PEM, SOEC ou alcalinos. Os serviços de rede integrados, como o fault ride-through (FRT) e o suporte dinâmico de potência reativa, contribuem significativamente para o sucesso do sistema.
A Altenso desenvolveu um sistema avançado de gestão de energia (EMS) especificamente para projetos como este. Este sistema otimiza a produção sustentável de hidrogênio com base em previsões fotovoltaicas e perfis dinâmicos de demanda.
